Charlie grew up in Fort Dodge, IA. He graduated from the Drake University in Des Moines, IA with a BBA in Economics. After undergrad he work for a temporary housing company in Chicago, IL for a year before seeking out sunshine and desert heat in Phoenix, AZ. While in Arizona, he worked for a wealth management firm and quickly learned that the role was not his passion. At this time there was no reason to keep fighting his calling, he moved to East Lansing, MI and enrolled in Michigan State University College of Law.
During his time in East Lansing, he was selected to serve on the MSU College of Law Board of Advocates and to participate in various moot court competitions. During his time in moot court, Charlie’s briefs received awards in the MSU College of Law Moot Court Competition and in The Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition. As an oralist, Charlie received awards as the third place oralist in The Evan A. Evan’s Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition and was a top ten oralist at the 2021 National Online Moot Court Competition. Academically, Charlie graduated cum laude and was honored to be on the Dean’s List each semester.
Charlie is ecstatic to be an Associate Attorney at Marko Law, where he knows she can learn from the best to help people who have been wronged and need justice.
