Office Receptionist

Marko Law has an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top, fastest growing and most respected Detroit law firms as a front desk receptionist. 

The ideal candidate will be a polished professional who is responsible, flexible, takes initiative, can multi-task with ease and works well as part of a team. Previous experience as a receptionist in a professional office setting, ability to use a multi-line phone system/switchboard, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Experience in Clio, and experience/education in the hospitality industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage with clients, guests, and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Promptly respond to incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with communication with outside vendors, contractors, cleaning services, and property management staff to uphold a professional, safe, and clean facility.
  • Coordinate all mail handling, office supplies, and conference room scheduling and preparation and cleanup.
  • Organize, prioritize, and process copy jobs and projects for our legal support team and attorneys.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a receptionist in a professional setting required,  bonus if it is a law firm.
  • Proven experience in office administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational, attention to detrail and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and software
